Tree Farm Campground: Vermont Camping the Way It Should Be

Tree Farm Campground
Just minutes from downtown Springfield but a world away from the hustle and noise, Tree Farm Campground is a 140-acre woodland escape nestled beneath towering white pines. Family-owned and beloved for over 50 years, this peaceful retreat invites campers to slow down, connect with nature, and enjoy all the comfort and charm Vermont has to offer.

A Place with Roots—and Heart

Since its founding over half a century ago, Tree Farm Campground has earned a reputation for hospitality that runs deep. Current owners Liz and Ben greet guests like old friends and have cultivated a welcoming community that draws families, road trippers, and seasonal campers year after year. As one camper put it, “The sites are spacious and private, and the vibe is calm and friendly.”

Spacious Sites, Honest Rates

With 73 sites designed for both tents and RVs (up to 35 feet), every campsite comes equipped with full hookups; water, electric (30 & 50 amp), and septic. One of the campground’s most appreciated features is its simple and fair pricing:
  • RV Sites: $58/night

  • Tent Sites: $37/night

  • Weekly & Monthly Rates Available
No seasonal upcharges, no hidden fees, just clear, affordable pricing that reflects the campground’s down-to-earth approach.

Family Fun and Woodland Adventure

Tree Farm Campground is built for relaxation and recreation. On-site amenities include:
  • A cozy log cabin lodge with free hot showers and a lending library

  • A playground, fenced-in dog park, and small basketball court

  • Scenic hiking trails that link to Springfield’s trail network and Muckross State Park

  • Family favorites like cornhole, yard Yahtzee, bocce, and community campfires
For the kids, the campground offers creative and interactive activities such as:
  • Rubber duck scavenger hunts

  • Seasonal arts and crafts

  • Halloween costume parades, Nerf battles, water games, and more
Saturday Wellness Mornings feature peaceful walks and simple meditations, while blueberry picking in season adds a sweet, local touch.
